Ephemeral Presence
This series of black-and-white photographs was exhibited at the Center of Contemporary Culture “Rails” in Tver in October 2021. The 17 works, created between 2019 and 2021, express the idea of a subtle human presence, where personality is conveyed without direct depiction. Elements such as floral motifs, soft shadows, and open spaces evoke fragility, intimacy, and ephemerality, while holding an inner strength hidden within minimalism and the metaphorical emptiness of each frame.
The “Ephemeral Presence” series explores the boundary between the visible and the internal, unveiling moments of presence through subtlety. My work creates images that allow viewers to feel the strength of fleeting moments, inviting them to focus on tiny details that hint at the personal without fully revealing it.
Each frame combines imagery with abstraction, leaving only a delicate trace of human presence. In this series, I aim to embody the concept of a moment as a unique, transient, yet deeply meaningful reality.
Prints of the photographs are available in a 40×50 cm size. For orders, please contact me directly.
